How long does it take to cleanse your liver?

I've heard people talk about 'cleansing' their liver for better health. I'm curious about this concept. How long does it typically take to complete a liver cleanse, or what does that even involve?

Usually, the liver starts to show good recovery in 4 to 6 weeks if you eat simple food. My grandmother always recommended drinking warm water with lemon, but we must trust our doctor's advice and get standard blood tests done to be sure.

With simple home-cooked meals and avoiding oily food, the liver can cleanse itself in about a month or two. Just be patient and give your body some rest.

From what I've researched, the liver cleanses itself naturally over 4 to 8 weeks if we avoid processed foods. With hormonal issues like PCOS, we have to be extra careful not to fall for quick 'detox' tea scams, as they can sometimes do more harm than good.

Yes, it takes about 1 to 2 months of strict lifestyle changes. Avoiding sugar and junk food is the absolute key.

It takes about a month of solid good habits, which means zero alcohol and late-night chips. Honestly, staying awake till 2 AM reading about liver cleanses while eating biscuits is not helping me, but we got this!

Drinking fresh amla juice or warm water with turmeric helps soothe the system, and the liver can start healing in a few weeks. However, if you have severe symptoms like yellow eyes or pain, skip the home remedies and consult a doctor immediately.
