How long does it take for pain pills to work?

My mother is having a toothache and took a pain pill a little while ago. She's still complaining, so I wanted to know how long it usually takes for these kinds of medicines to actually start working. Is it immediate, or does it need some time?

I had a bad toothache last week and took a painkiller. It took exactly 35 minutes for the pain to start fading, and within an hour I felt normal. Just sit quietly in a dark room until the pill starts working.

Beta, these modern pills work quite fast nowadays, usually within half an hour. Back in our days, we had to bear it much longer. Don't worry, just lie down and let the medicine do its job, you will be fine shortly.

Most pain pills show effect in 30 to 45 minutes. I usually try drinking a cup of warm ginger water first before taking any strong tablets. If the pain is very sharp and sudden, skip home remedies and directly go to a clinic.

I was just reading up on this because of a muscle pull. Apparently, standard over-the-counter pills take about 30 minutes to hit the bloodstream, while some prescription ones might act in 15-20 minutes. Quite interesting how fast they work!

Normally it takes 30-40 minutes for the pill to digest and start working. If you took it after a very heavy meal, it might take a bit longer to act. Keep some water handy and rest till then.

On average, you'll see a drop in your discomfort levels within 30 to 60 minutes after taking a pill. I usually log my pain levels on my fitness app to track how long different things take to work. Stay hydrated to help your metabolism!

Bro, just wait for like 30 minutes, it starts working by then. I had gym pain yesterday and the pill took exactly 40 minutes to make me feel normal. Don't pop another one before that.

Most pills take 30-40 mins to work, but if you have a muscle sore, stretching and hydration are better long-term solutions. I try to avoid pills unless absolutely necessary for training. Let the body recover naturally if the pain is mild.
