How long does it take for lpr to cause cancer?

I've been dealing with LPR (silent reflux) for a few years now, and sometimes I worry about long-term complications. Someone mentioned it can sometimes lead to more serious issues. How long does LPR typically have to be present or severe before there's a risk of it causing something like cancer?

I have LPR and asked my doc about this because I was freaked out. He said it takes decades of constant untreated acid reflux to cause serious damage, so relax.

My son had severe acid reflux. With proper diet and antacids, it cleared up in months; don't worry about cancer as it requires decades of neglected damage.

I went to a specialist at a corporate hospital for my throat clearing issue. It is better to get an endoscopy and ask your doctor clearly.

Instead of worrying, budget for a simple doctor consultation. Basic lifestyle changes and cheap medications will keep LPR under control easily.
