How long does it take for liver to recover?

My brother has been diagnosed with some liver issues recently, related to his lifestyle. He's trying to make changes. How long does it typically take for the liver to show signs of recovery or improvement once one starts a healthier routine?

The liver is amazing at self-healing, but it takes time. Mild fatty liver can recover in about 4 to 6 weeks of clean eating, so don't lose heart.

At my age, the liver doesn't bounce back overnight! Give it at least 2 months of zero alcohol and absolute discipline to see a real recovery.

It actually takes around a month of strict detox, yaar. Cut down on junk and fried food completely and you'll see a big difference.

Fatty liver is common in diabetics. Controlling my blood sugar and losing some weight helped my liver enzymes return to normal in about 3 months.

If you are constantly sleeping late and eating junk, recovery takes longer. Fix your routine, sleep 8 hours, and give your liver at least 6 weeks.

Thyroid issues can slow down metabolism and liver recovery. Get your liver function tests done every month to monitor the healing progress properly.

You don't need fancy supplements. Just eat home-cooked food, do regular walks, and get a cheap LFT test done after 6 weeks to check progress.
