How long does it take for external piles to heal?

I've been dealing with external piles for a while, and they're quite uncomfortable. I'm using some ointment, and they feel a bit better, but I want them to heal completely. On average, how long does it take for external piles to fully heal?

Hey, don't stress too much about it, piles are super common. Usually, the pain starts reducing in 1 week if you eat lots of fiber and avoid sitting for too long.

With my diabetes, I have to be careful with healing times. For me, eating high-fiber foods like oats and keeping my sugars normal helped heal piles in about 2 weeks.

Just give it about 10 days and keep your bowels smooth! Drinking lots of water and eating papaya daily works wonders for healing piles fast.

External piles usually shrink and heal in 1 to 2 weeks. Try taking warm sitz baths for 15 minutes twice a day and use an over-the-counter soothing ointment.

Expect about 10 to 14 days for complete healing. If you are sitting at a desk job, get a donut cushion and cut out spicy food completely until it clears.

Simple things work best for piles. Keep a tub of warm water for sitting, eat green vegetables, and you will see the swelling disappear in 10-12 days.

I panicked so much when I first got external piles, but they actually went down on their own in 7 days. Just avoid straining on the toilet and it resolves soon.

Honestly, I had this during exams due to sitting all day and stress. Took about a week to heal after I started drinking isabgol and plenty of water.

You don't need expensive treatments initially. Creams and sitz baths are very cheap and will heal most external piles within 2 weeks at home.

Yes, 1 to 2 weeks is the standard time. Just make sure to consult a general surgeon if the pain is severe or if there is bleeding.
