How long does it take breast cancer to kill you?

My friend's mother is battling advanced breast cancer, and her condition is very serious. It's a difficult time, and I'm just wondering, once diagnosed, what is the general timeline? How long does it take for breast cancer to progress to a point where it becomes fatal?

With modern medical treatments, breast cancer is highly manageable and many people live long, healthy lives. It depends entirely on the stage, which is why regular screening and consulting an oncologist immediately is essential.

My aunt was diagnosed years ago and she is absolutely fine now thanks to early treatment. There is no fixed timeline because treatments are very advanced now, so don't read scary stuff online and just consult a specialist.

As someone who has gone through cancer treatment, I can tell you that a diagnosis is not a death sentence. Early detection and proper medical care mean you can fully recover and live a normal life span.

Delaying treatment is the only thing that makes any disease dangerous. I regretted ignoring a health issue once, so my advice is to never wait. Go to a reputed hospital and get checked by a doctor right away.

Years ago, people feared this diagnosis, but today I see so many survivors in my circle living for decades after treatment. Do not lose hope or think of the worst. Modern medicine has come a very long way.
