Haan, indigestion pain usually goes away in a couple of hours na once the food settles. But if you have eaten heavy fried food, it can stretch to a whole day. Just walk around a bit and drink some warm water.

It usually clears up in a few hours once your digestion moves along. I notice if I do a light 15-minute walk post-meal instead of lying down, the acidity and pressure disappear much faster. Avoid heavy workouts until it fully settles though.

Honestly, for me it takes around 2 hours maximum after a bad outside meal. I just take a quick walk or sit upright, no sleeping immediately after eating. If it's still hurting bad after half a day, just see a doc.

See, basic bloating and gas pain shouldn't last more than 2 to 3 hours maximum. If you are sitting with severe stomach pain for a whole day, stop waiting and go to a doctor. Don't keep popping random antacids.

Whenever I get this, I keep checking the clock and worrying it's something worse. Usually, it starts fading in 3 hours, but if it doesn't, I end up calling my clinic. Try to stay calm because stress actually makes stomach acid much worse.

Usually, a cup of warm mint tea or fennel seeds relieves the tightness in an hour. But if the pain is very sharp, continuous, or you feel breathless, please don't treat it at home. Go to a hospital immediately as it could be something else.

Bhai, normal gas or heavy feeling will go away in one-two hours if you walk a bit. Try drinking lukewarm water or simple jeera water, it gives relief quickly. Keep your food simple today.

At my age, one samosa means dealing with acidity for the next four hours minimum! If I behave and eat light, it goes away fast. If it lasts till dinner, I just accept defeat and drink some warm water.

In my sixty years, I have seen that minor stomach upsets resolve on their own within half a day. Rest your stomach, eat light khichdi, and let it heal. If the pain stays sharp till the next morning, get it checked properly.

I have tried everything from buttermilk with ginger to ajwain water. For mild indigestion, these home remedies resolve the discomfort within an hour or two. If nothing works by evening, then it is better to take a doctor's advice.

I completely understand how scary that chest-heavy stomach pain feels when it doesn't stop. Honestly, mine usually goes down in 1 or 2 hours, but the anxiety makes it feel like forever. Take deep breaths and drink some water.

My doctor explained that functional dyspepsia or common acid reflux pain should subside within 2 to 4 hours post-meals. He strictly advised that if the pain radiates to the jaw or left arm, or persists past 24 hours, it requires immediate medical evaluation.
