How long does hepatitis c vaccine last?

My family is planning to get vaccinated for various things before traveling. I was wondering about the Hepatitis C vaccine – if one gets it, how long does the protection typically last?

Actually, there is currently no vaccine available for Hepatitis C, though there are vaccines for Hepatitis A and B. If you are looking to protect yourself, the best way is avoiding exposure and getting regular screenings. I highly recommend consulting your doctor to understand preventative measures clearly.

I went through so much emotional distress when family members were diagnosed, and I kept searching for a vaccine too. It was heartbreaking to find out that a Hep C vaccine doesn't even exist yet. It is a tough reality, but please stay strong and talk to a doctor about treatment options.

Just so you know, there is no vaccine for Hepatitis C at all, so don't let any clinic trick you into paying for one. Instead, save that money for regular diagnostic blood tests if you feel there is a risk. Practical planning and keeping a small health fund is always better.

Wait, is there a vaccine? Because my sleep-deprived brain has been searching the internet at 3 AM and everything says there isn't one for Hep C! Hep A and B have vaccines that last for decades, but for Hep C, we just have to rely on being super careful.

There is no vaccine available for Hepatitis C, dear. Our focus should be on keeping our body clean, eating pure food, and practicing daily pranayama to build our natural defenses, while always consulting doctors for medical guidance.

I checked my health app's immunization tracker, and it only lists vaccines for Hep A and B. There's actually no vaccine for Hep C on the market yet. The best defense is tracking your overall health and avoiding shared needles or unsterilized equipment.

When I visited my doctor at Apollo, he explicitly told me that there is no vaccine for Hep C yet. Anyone claiming otherwise is misinformed. Go to a proper hospital and ask a specialist clearly about how to stay protected.
