How long does fever last after vaccines?

My daughter got her regular immunizations this week, and she developed a mild fever. I know it's common, but I want to be prepared. Generally, how long does fever last after vaccines in children?

For me, vaccine fever usually stays for a day or maximum two. Since I have thyroid issues, I always make sure to keep tracking my temperature and check with my doctor if it goes beyond 48 hours. It is always better to get a quick consult or basic tests done if you feel too weak or the fever doesn't settle.

True, for most of my family members it resolved within 24 to 36 hours. Just make sure to take plenty of rest and don't do any heavy lifting with that arm.

Usually, it is just a 24 to 48 hours game, bro. I had a mild warm feeling after my shot too, so I avoided my heavy gym sessions. Just took a light walk inside my society after asking my doctor, which actually helped me feel less stiff.

My daughter got a high fever after her 1.5-month vaccination and it lasted for almost two days. Don't worry, just keep doing cold sponge strips on the forehead if it increases. Keep them hydrated with warm water or milk, it will pass soon.

Actually it stays for only 1 day. I got my shot in the morning, got a mild fever by night, and next afternoon I was absolutely fine. Just took rest and watched some series, no need to stress.

Same here, I got a mild fever and body pain that lasted roughly 1.5 days. I just took a paracetamol that my doc prescribed and slept it off. Keep a clean wet cloth handy to keep the temperature down naturally.

Beta, in my sixty years I have seen that vaccine fevers are very normal and actually a good sign that your body is building strength. It never stays for more than two days. Drink warm soups, rest well, and you will be perfectly fine by the third day.
