How long does duloxetine take to work for pain?

My doctor just prescribed Duloxetine for my chronic pain, and I'm really hoping it helps. I'm wondering how soon I can expect to feel some relief. How long does Duloxetine typically take to start working for pain?

For nerve pain, my doctor started this and told me it takes at least 2 to 4 weeks to show proper results. You have to be very patient with it. I also make sure to get my thyroid and kidney levels tested regularly as advised during my follow-ups.

Haan na, it is not like normal paracetamol that works in one hour. It took almost 3 weeks for my chronic back pain to feel lighter. Just keep taking it daily as prescribed, don't stop it mid-way because you think it is not working.

My doctor prescribed this for my diabetic neuropathy pain in my feet. It took around one full month to bring the burning sensation down. Along with this medicine, keeping your blood sugar strictly under control through diet is the main key to nerve recovery.

It takes about 3 to 4 weeks to start showing results for body pain. Since these long-term neuro medicines require regular doctor visits and follow-up blood tests, I always budget for a monthly package online to save some money on the lab bills.

This medicine works on its own IST schedule, meaning Indian Stretchable Time! It took a solid 3 weeks before my neck pain decided to pack its bags. Just hang in there, it is slow but it definitely gets the job done eventually.

Look, don't expect magic in two days with duloxetine. It takes at least a month to build up in your body and soothe the nerves. Take it quietly at the same time every day and don't skip doses, that is the only way it works.
