How long does cooked liver last in the fridge?

My husband brought home some cooked liver from the market, and we only ate a little bit. Now I'm wondering if I can save the rest for tomorrow. How long does cooked liver typically last safely in the fridge without spoiling?

According to my meal-prep app logs, cooked liver is safe in the fridge for about 3 to 4 days. Make sure you store it in an airtight container as soon as it cools down. If you need it to last longer, freezing is a much better option.

I totally get how stressful it is worrying about food poisoning from leftovers; I always double-check everything. Cooked liver stays good for only 3 days in the refrigerator. To ease your mind, if it smells even slightly off or looks dry, just discard it to be safe.

Cooked liver is best eaten fresh, but if you have leftovers, finish them within 3 days max! After that, it loses its texture and becomes quite rubbery. Just reheat it nicely with a little butter and black pepper, and it will taste great again.

Take care of your health by eating fresh food as much as possible. If you must store cooked liver, please do not keep it for more than 3 days in the fridge. Freshly prepared meals carry the best energy for our body and mind.

Bhai, cooked liver should not be kept in the fridge for more than 2 or 3 days. Our elders always say to eat meat fresh. If you have to keep it, make sure the fridge temperature is cold enough and heat it very well before eating.

Don't trust random forum comments saying meat can last a week in the fridge. Standard food safety guidelines clearly state cooked meat and organ meats like liver should only be kept for 3 to 4 days. If you experience stomach pain or vomiting after eating leftovers, consult a doctor.

I agree with the 3-day limit. Just make sure to store it on the upper shelves of the fridge where the cooling is most consistent.

I cook liver regularly for its high iron content. It easily lasts for 3 to 4 days in a good airtight glass container in the fridge. My tip: don't reheat the whole batch repeatedly, just take out the portion you want to eat and heat only that.
