How long does anxiety chest pain last?

I've been under a lot of stress lately, and sometimes I get this tightness in my chest that scares me. My doctor says it's anxiety-related chest pain. How long does this kind of chest pain typically last? It feels like forever when it happens.

Yaar, anxiety chest pain can feel super real and last for quite some time, actually. For me, it's usually like 10-15 minutes of really uncomfortable pressure, but sometimes when I'm super stressed, it can be on and off for an hour or so. It's all in the head, but the body reacts so strongly!

It's tough when you feel that chest pain, I know. With PCOS, anxiety can be a big factor for many of us. Sometimes it's a few minutes, sometimes it lingers. What helps me is deep breathing, but it's always good to get it checked by a doc once to rule out anything else, just to be sure. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Dude, I totally get this. Before exams, my chest literally feels tight like someone's sitting on it. It usually comes and goes for me, like short bursts of tightness for a few minutes at a time, but the overall anxious feeling can last hours. It's so annoying!

For me, managing diabetes means keeping stress low. Anxiety chest pain, I've heard, can vary a lot from person to person. It might be a few minutes, or sometimes longer. The key is to manage the anxiety itself, maybe with some mindful breathing or a walk. Always consult your doctor to ensure it's not something else, especially if you have other conditions.

Oh, I remember panicking so much the first few times I felt this! I thought I was having a heart attack. Turns out it was just anxiety. For me, it generally subsides within 10-20 minutes once I manage to calm myself down, but the fear can make it feel much longer. Just try to breathe slowly, it helps a lot.
