How long does an eye stroke last?

My uncle recently had an 'eye stroke' as the doctor called it, and he's really worried about his vision. How long does something like that typically affect vision or the eye itself? We are all very concerned.

Haan, yeh koi aam baat nahi hai, eye stroke se vision loss permanently bhi ho sakta hai agar sahi time par treatment na mile. Isme bilkul bhi delay mat karo aur turant kisi bade eye specialist ko dikhao.

An eye stroke is a serious cardiovascular issue affecting the blood vessels in the eye, and the damage can be permanent within hours. While maintaining a good lifestyle helps prevent it, an active stroke requires immediate emergency medical attention.

My uncle suffered from an eye stroke last year. His vision blurriness started suddenly and unfortunately, some damage remained because they delayed going to the hospital. Please don't wait for it to resolve on its own.

This is a serious emergency and not something that just goes away on its own. Please go to an eye clinic or hospital immediately to get it checked. Taking quick action is super important to protect your sight.

There is no 'waiting period' for an eye stroke. It is a medical emergency caused by lack of blood flow, and you need to reach an ophthalmologist within hours to prevent permanent blindness. Drop everything and go to a hospital.
