How long does abdomen pain last?

I've been having this dull ache in my abdomen for a few days now. It's not severe, but it's annoying. How long does abdominal pain usually last before I should worry?

Honestly, mine usually lasts a few hours if I overeat spicy biryani or street food. A simple walk or some warm water helps. But if it is stretching into the next day, you should stop eating heavy stuff and get it checked.

It actually depends on what is causing it, yaar. Normal gas pain goes away in an hour or two with some pudina hara. But if it is super sharp and constant for hours, don't wait at home, go see a doctor.

My health tracker showed an elevated heart rate last time I had acute stomach pain, which turned out to be food poisoning. Usually, minor gut issues resolve within 24 to 48 hours with light food. Track your symptoms and water intake, and consult a doc if it persists.

For mild stomach ache, drinking warm water with a pinch of hing can relieve gas within thirty minutes. However, if the pain is severe, accompanied by vomiting, or lasts more than a day, do not try home remedies. Go straight to a clinic.

Abdominal pain is tricky because it can be anything from simple acidity to appendicitis. Normal indigestion pain should subside within 4 to 6 hours. If the pain is localized in the lower right side or is worsening, please get a professional opinion immediately.

If it is period cramps, it usually lasts for one or two days for me. A hot water bag works wonders. But if the pain is in a specific spot and doesn't get better, please consult a gynecologist or doctor.
