How long does a tia stroke last?

My neighbor had a TIA recently and she's very worried. I want to understand more about it, so how long does a TIA (mini-stroke) typically last?

A TIA, or 'mini-stroke,' by definition, has symptoms that last less than 24 hours, often just a few minutes. But don't ever ignore it! I ignored some mild dizziness and weakness once, thinking it was just fatigue, and later found out it could have been a serious warning. A TIA is a serious warning sign for a full stroke, so get checked immediately, no matter how short the symptoms are.

Having dealt with this in my family, I can tell you a TIA is technically a 'transient' ischemic attack, meaning the symptoms are temporary and typically resolve within an hour, rarely lasting up to 24 hours. The key word is 'warning.' It's your body giving you a heads-up. See a doctor urgently to figure out the cause and prevent a major stroke. Lifestyle changes like diet and exercise are critical afterwards.

Ho na, a TIA ke symptoms na, they don't last long, usually just a few minutes se ek ghanta tak. Maximum 24 hours. But, it's not like a normal headache, it's a big red flag, haan na? Means you need to rush to the doctor immediately, don't wait for it to go away. It's a warning sign for a bigger problem.

A TIA's symptoms are brief, often lasting only a few minutes. I have high BP, so I know the importance of immediately checking such signs. It's a warning that you are at risk for a full stroke. So, even if symptoms pass, a doctor's visit is non-negotiable. Manage your BP and cholesterol, and regular checkups are a must.

Experiencing a TIA, or even just the fear of one, is incredibly unsettling. The symptoms themselves are temporary, usually lasting for a few minutes and almost always resolving within 24 hours. But it's not something to dismiss. It's a clear signal that something needs immediate medical attention. Please don't carry this burden alone; talk to a doctor right away.

Bhai, a TIA, also called a mini-stroke, has symptoms that last for a short time, usually a few minutes, and always less than 24 hours. But don't take it lightly. It's a warning from your body for a full stroke. So, if you or someone experiences it, go to the hospital immediately. No delays.

A TIA lasts about as long as my motivation to do laundry on a Sunday – very short, usually minutes! Max 24 hours. But seriously, it's like a pop quiz from your brain saying, 'Hey, something's not right!' Don't ignore the warning, get to a doc faster than you can say 'chai!'
