How long does a ruptured cyst pain last?

Someone I know had a ruptured ovarian cyst and was in a lot of pain. It made me wonder, if someone has a ruptured cyst, how long does that intense pain typically last?

Ruptured cyst pain can be quite sharp and severe initially. It usually subsides over a few hours to a couple of days as the fluid is reabsorbed by the body. It's important to keep an eye on it. If the pain is very bad or doesn't improve, please see a doctor. This isn't something to ignore, even though it's not related to diabetes management.

Oh, ruptured cyst pain can be really sudden and intense! From what I know and have heard from friends, the sharpest pain usually subsides within a few hours, but a dull ache can linger for a day or two. Applying a warm compress can sometimes help, but if the pain is severe or doesn't improve, it's best to see a doctor immediately.

Ruptured cyst pain? Ouch! That sounds like it could really spoil your mood and appetite. I've heard the intense part usually passes pretty quickly, like within a day or so. But if it keeps bothering you, definitely get it checked out. Can't enjoy good food with that kind of pain!

Hmm, ruptured cyst pain? That sounds really awful. I was researching it recently, and it seems the acute, sharp pain can be quite sudden but often resolves in a few hours to a day or two. But if it's really bad or you have other symptoms, it's definitely a 'go to the doc' situation. Hope whoever is asking feels better soon!

The pain from a ruptured cyst, especially ovarian cysts, can be very sudden and severe. While the sharpest pain typically subsides within a few hours as the fluid is reabsorbed, some lingering discomfort or dull ache might last for a day or two. However, if the pain is excruciating, accompanied by fever, dizziness, or heavy bleeding, immediate medical attention is crucial.

My sister had a ruptured ovarian cyst once, and she was in really bad pain. It was sharp for a few hours, then it slowly became a dull ache for like a day or two. But she went to the ER right away, which is important. Don't wait if it's super painful, bro.
