How long does 8 month sleep regression last?

My eight-month-old used to sleep through the night, but now he's waking up multiple times. I read about an 8-month sleep regression. How long can I expect this phase to continue?

Oh my god, I remember this phase! It felt like forever, honestly. The exhaustion was real, and it made me so emotional. Just know you're not alone, it's really tough but it does pass.

It varies a lot for each baby. Best to discuss with your pediatrician during your next visit. They can give you specific advice for your child, since every situation is different.

Hello! Usually, the 8-month regression lasts for a few weeks, maybe 2-6 weeks. Consistency is key, try to stick to a routine as much as possible, even when it's hard. This too shall pass, dear.

Hey! Don't stress too much, yaar. It's totally normal. My nephew went through it and it was around 3-4 weeks for them. Just hang in there, you're doing great!

When sleep is disrupted like this, sometimes we tend to eat more unhealthy food for energy. Try to keep your snacks healthy and balanced, especially if you have any underlying conditions. Don't neglect your diet.

It's a phase of growth for the baby, so there will be some disturbance. Focus on calm breathing for yourself, even a few minutes can help manage the stress. Your inner peace affects the environment around the baby.

Sleep deprivation can really impact your health, especially blood pressure. Make sure you're still taking care of yourself and getting your checkups, even if it feels impossible to sleep. This phase won't last forever.

Ho na, 8-month regression is quite common. For many, it's like 2-4 weeks, but for some, thoda zyada bhi. Just be patient and try to maintain their sleep schedule, that helps a lot.
