How long do you have chest pain before heart attack?

My uncle had a heart attack recently, and he mentioned he had some chest discomfort on and off for a few days before it happened. It's made me a bit paranoid about my own occasional chest pains. How long do these chest pains typically occur before a full-blown heart attack?

Any chest pain, especially if it's new, severe, or accompanied by other symptoms like shortness of breath or arm pain, needs immediate medical attention. Don't try to time it or wait. Get to a hospital or call an ambulance right away. Time is crucial in heart-related issues.

Beta, chest pain is not a small thing. Sometimes it's just gas, but sometimes it's very serious. If you have any doubt, don't wait. Go to the hospital. My grandmother used to say chew some tulsi leaves for gas, but for chest pain, no home remedy, only doctor. Please go quickly.

For chest pain, especially if it's suspicious, don't worry about cost or planning. Go to the nearest emergency room without delay. Getting it checked early can save your life and prevent bigger problems down the line, which would ultimately be more expensive to treat.

Chest pain is a warning sign that must never be ignored, regardless of your diet. There's no fixed 'how long' before something worse happens. It needs immediate medical evaluation, not contemplation about food. Please seek emergency medical care.

Listen, if you have chest pain, you don't 'wait' to see how long it lasts before it becomes a heart attack. That's dangerous. Get it checked immediately. Period. Even if you're super fit, listen to your body and get expert advice. Don't risk it.

I once had chest pain that freaked me out, rushed to the ER, and it turned out to be severe acidity! But even then, the doctors said I did the right thing by not waiting. For actual heart issues, sometimes pain can come and go for a bit, or it can hit suddenly. ALWAYS get it checked immediately. Better safe than sorry!
