How long do pain killers last?

I took a painkiller for my back pain this morning, and it felt effective for a few hours. I'm wondering how long the effects of typical pain killers generally last before I might need another dose.

For me, even simple painkillers, I always check with my doctor because of my diabetes. They usually last 4-6 hours, but it depends on the type and dosage. Never take them without proper advice, especially if you have other health conditions.

Haan na, pain killers ki effect alag alag hoti hai. Kuch 4-6 ghante rehte hain, kuch shayad thoda zyada. Par best hai doctor se poochhna ya jo packet pe likha ho, woh dekhna. Apne aap se zyada mat lena kabhi.

Generally, common painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen last for about 4 to 6 hours. Stronger ones might last longer. Always follow the dosage given by the doctor or written on the strip. Don't take more thinking it will work faster.

Depends on the pain, yaar! Sometimes a painkiller works for 6 hours, sometimes my headache is back in 2, just mocking me. Wish they'd last forever so I could actually get some sleep without my back screaming.

The duration of painkillers really depends on the specific medicine and its strength. It's always safest to read the instructions on the packaging or, even better, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Don't take chances with medication.

I once took a painkiller that was too strong for me, and I had bad side effects. So please, don't just ask here. It truly depends on the medicine. Always ask a doctor or pharmacist. They will tell you exactly how long it lasts and if it's suitable for you.
