How long do heart attack symptoms last before heart attack?

My father had a heart attack recently, and I've been really worried since. I'm trying to understand more about it because he mentioned having some chest pain on and off for a few days before it happened. Does anyone know how long those early symptoms typically show up before a proper heart attack?

Heart attack symptoms, if they are actually indicative of an impending attack, usually last for more than a few minutes. They often persist, intensify, or recur. This isn't something that comes and goes quickly. Any such persistent symptoms warrant immediate medical evaluation.

Ho na, the signs leading up to it, they don't just vanish suddenly. If someone is experiencing chest pain, breathlessness, or discomfort in the arm that lasts for several minutes and doesn't get better, then it's serious. Turant doctor ko dikhana chahiye.

I used to panic every time I felt a chest pain, thinking it was a heart attack! But my doctor explained that actual heart attack symptoms last for more than a few minutes and don't go away on their own. So if it's quick and gone, it's usually something else, but if it persists, then definitely get it checked.

For diabetics, especially, symptoms can sometimes be atypical or less severe. But generally, if it's a true heart attack, the symptoms like chest pain, breathlessness, or discomfort last for several minutes, not just a fleeting moment. It's crucial to seek medical help immediately rather than waiting to see if it passes.

Honestly, if it's heart attack symptoms, they don't just chill out after a minute. My uncle had one, and he said the chest pain and discomfort kept coming and going for a while, like over an hour, before it got really bad. So yeah, if it's persistent, get help ASAP.
