How long do babies sleep in the womb?

I'm pregnant with my first child, and I'm always curious about what the baby is doing inside. Someone told me babies sleep a lot in the womb, but I want to know more about it. How much do they really sleep in there?

It's fascinating, right? From what I remember reading when I was pregnant, babies spend most of their time sleeping in the womb, like 90-95% of the day! But it's not always deep sleep, they have different cycles.

Babies actually sleep quite a lot in the womb, often up to 90% of the time, experiencing different sleep cycles. However, for personalized information and to understand your baby's specific development, always consult your gynaecologist or obstetrician.

Babies pretty much sleep all the time in the womb, like 90% of a 24-hour day. They go through cycles of active sleep and quiet sleep, just like after they are born. It's how they grow!

Actually, babies spend a huge chunk of their time sleeping in the womb, almost 90% from the third trimester onwards. But if you have any specific concerns about fetal movement or sleep patterns, please ask your doctor at your next appointment. They can explain it best.

It's amazing how much growth happens when they're resting in there! I read that babies in the womb are sleeping for most of the day. For expecting mothers, maintaining your own energy with light exercise if your doctor approves, helps with overall well-being.

It's true, babies are often sleeping peacefully for many hours inside the mother's womb. It's a natural part of their growth and development.

From what we learn, fetuses sleep for significant periods inside the womb, often 90-95% of the time. They cycle through different sleep stages, including REM sleep. This is crucial for their brain development. So, they're quite busy sleeping!

Oh, I used to wonder about this so much when I was pregnant! I kept thinking, 'Is my baby sleeping or active right now?' I heard they sleep most of the time, but then why did I feel so much movement at night? Did anyone else feel that too?
