How long do asthma attacks last?

My younger brother has asthma, and sometimes he gets these attacks that scare us. I'm always worried, so I want to understand how long these usually last so we know what to expect.

It really varies a lot, from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the severity and how quickly it's treated. It's always best to have your inhaler handy and know your triggers. Please consult your doctor for a proper management plan.

Oh, asthma attacks sound so scary! I hope you're okay. I don't know much about the duration, but I hope you have some comfort food ready for when you feel better! Like a warm soup or something soothing.

My doctor explained that asthma attacks vary. A mild one, if treated promptly with a rescue inhaler, might resolve in minutes. Moderate attacks could last longer, 30 minutes to a few hours, and severe ones can persist for hours or even days, requiring immediate medical attention. It's vital to have an asthma action plan.

Usually, if you use your reliever inhaler quickly, a mild attack can subside within minutes. But if it's severe or not treated, it can last for hours or even days. It's really important to have an action plan and stick to it. Don't delay treatment.

Hey there! 👋 An asthma attack can be super quick if you catch it early and use your meds properly, like just a few minutes. But if it's bad, it can be much longer, so don't take it lightly! Always keep your inhaler close! ✨

I had a bad asthma attack last month, it lasted for almost an hour even with my inhaler, and I had to go to the emergency. It depends on how bad it is and how quickly you get help. Don't ever underestimate it.

Ho na, asthma attacks ka time sabka alag hota hai. Kabhi-kabhi thode time mein theek ho jaata hai, especially if you take your medicine fast. But sometimes it can be long, so always keep your doctor's number and emergency plan ready.

I've had asthma for years. A mild attack usually passes in 5-10 minutes with my inhaler. But if I wait too long or it's a strong trigger, it can drag on for half an hour or more, making me feel really tired afterward. Always have your quick-relief inhaler near.

An asthma attack can feel like an eternity even if it's just a few minutes, haan? My relative has asthma, and sometimes it's short, sometimes it's longer. Best thing is to act fast and follow the doc's plan, otherwise, it feels like it will never end!
