How long did you have back pain before labor?

I'm in my last trimester and starting to feel some lower back pain. My friends told me it's common before labor. For those who've experienced it, how long did you have back pain before actual labor started?

Oh, my older sister had back pain for like the entire last month of her pregnancy! She said it was almost constant, especially lower back pain. It started getting super intense a few days before actual labor began. She was always leaning on things, poor thing.

With my first baby, I had mild backache for about a month before labor, and then it turned into intense, rhythmic pain just a day before delivery. I totally panicked initially, thinking 'Is this it?!' but it was just a slow build-up. So, don't worry, it's normal for it to vary, and usually, the 'real' labor pain is different.

Beta, back pain in the last stage of pregnancy is very common, almost everyone has it. For some, it starts a few weeks before, for others, just a few days or hours. My daughter-in-law had it for about two weeks, and then it got very strong just before her water broke. Hot water bag helps a little, and gentle massage from a elder. But don't worry, it's a sign baby is coming.

The journey to motherhood is truly divine, and these pains are a part of it. Back pain before labor can vary greatly; some feel it for weeks, others just days. Embrace it as your body preparing for a miracle. Stay calm, breathe deeply, and trust your inner strength. All will be well.

Back pain is a very normal part of the later stages of pregnancy, leading up to labor. My wife had it for nearly a month, sometimes mild, sometimes quite intense. The *actual* labor pains in the back felt distinct and much stronger, usually starting a day or two before delivery. Just rest as much as you can, and keep an eye on patterns.

Hey, back pain before labor is super common, so don't stress too much! For me, it was off and on for about 3 weeks before my due date, and then really strong for a day or two before active labor started. Everyone's different, but it's totally normal to feel it for a while before the main event!

As a working mom, I remember having back pain for a good 2-3 weeks before my labor actually began. It was mostly dull, nagging pain. The intense, unmistakable labor back pain, however, started suddenly for me about 6-8 hours before I delivered. It's hard to predict, but generally, the pre-labor backache can linger for a while.
