How long can you take ibuprofen for back pain?

Been having a lot of lower back pain recently, especially after long days at work. My doctor suggested ibuprofen for relief, but I'm wondering if it's safe to take it for a long duration, or if there's a limit.

Please be careful. I kept taking painkillers for my knee pain for months, thinking it was just old age. Turns out it was something more serious. Don't make my mistake, if your back pain isn't going away in a few days, see a doctor. Painkillers are a temporary fix.

Hey! I had back pain from gym sometimes, and doc said I can take ibuprofen for a few days, like 3-4 days max, if pain is really bad. But if it's constant, then it's better to get it checked. Don't keep taking it for long!

At a good hospital, doctors usually advise against long-term use of NSAIDs like ibuprofen due to potential side effects on stomach and kidneys. For back pain, they'd typically say a few days, maybe a week, and then reassess. Best to consult your doctor for a clear plan.

Ibuprofen is not for long-term use, bhai. Max 7-10 days if a doctor says so. Otherwise, it can cause problems, especially stomach issues. If your back pain persists, it means you need proper diagnosis, not just pain relief.

Aww, back pain can be such a bother! Generally, for short-term relief, ibuprofen is fine for a few days, like 3-5 days. But if it's not getting better, pls don't keep popping pills. Go get it checked, yaar. Don't stress too much, but don't ignore it either!

Haan, ibuprofen for back pain is fine for thode din. Like 3-5 days ka course. But agar zyada time tak le rahe ho na, toh acidity ho sakti hai aur kidneys par bhi load aata hai. Better hai ki doctor se confirm kar lo.

Beta, these English medicines are good for quick relief, but taking them for too long is not good for the body. For back pain, you can try some warm oil massage or hot fomentation at home. If pain doesn't go away in 2-3 days, please show it to a proper doctor.
