How long can you survive without kidney function?

A close relative is on dialysis because their kidneys aren't working properly. It's a really challenging situation. It got me thinking, how long can someone survive if their kidneys completely fail and they don't receive any kidney function support?

This is such a tough question and can bring a lot of emotional distress. Without kidney function, the body accumulates toxins very quickly. Survival without dialysis or a transplant is typically only a matter of days to a couple of weeks, depending on how fast the toxins build up. It's a critical situation that needs immediate medical intervention.

Dude, if your kidneys stop working, it's super serious. You can't live long without them filtering your blood. It's like, maybe a week or two max before everything shuts down. My friend's uncle needed dialysis every other day to survive. So yeah, don't mess with kidneys.

Without kidney function, survival is very limited, usually days to a few weeks at most. Dialysis or a transplant are the only options. The cost of dialysis is very high, running into lakhs per year, so proper health insurance or financial planning is crucial for those who need it. It's a grim reality.

Without kidney function, the body's waste products rapidly become toxic. Survival is typically very short, often within a week or two, unless immediate intervention like dialysis or a kidney transplant occurs. It's a critical medical emergency requiring urgent care.

My child, kidneys are so important, they clean our blood. Without them working, the body fills with poisons. One cannot survive for long, maybe a few days to a couple of weeks. It requires immediate help, either through machines (dialysis) or a new kidney. It is a very difficult time for families.
