How long can you live without kidney function?

A close relative has very advanced kidney disease and their kidney function is almost nil. It's a very difficult time. I just want to know, how long can someone realistically live when their kidneys are not functioning at all?

My cousin experienced this, and it's extremely serious. Without any kidney function, the body can't get rid of toxins, leading to severe complications very quickly. It's a matter of days, maybe a few weeks at most, without medical intervention like dialysis. Please consult a doctor immediately if this is your situation.

If kidney function totally stops, you're looking at a very short time without dialysis or a transplant. I had a scare and needed dialysis temporarily. It's literally a lifeline. Don't waste a minute if you or someone you know is in this situation; get to a hospital.

Complete kidney failure is a critical condition. Without some form of renal replacement therapy, like dialysis, survival is limited to a very short period, often a week or two. It's crucial to have consistent medical oversight and treatment. There's no long-term survival without it.

Listen, if your kidneys completely stop, it's an emergency. You'd need dialysis pretty much immediately to survive. We're talking days, not months. My friend's relative went through it, and it was really tough without proper treatment. Get medical help!

The kidneys are vital for filtering waste from the blood. Without any function, toxins build up rapidly, making survival impossible beyond a few days to weeks without intervention. This is a severe medical emergency. Please seek immediate consultation with a nephrologist for proper guidance and treatment.

Yaar, if your kidneys aren't working at all, it's super serious. You can't live long without dialysis or a transplant, actually. It's a few days max before things go really bad. Get to a hospital pronto, don't delay!
