How long can you live with stage 4 peritoneal cancer?

My neighbour, a very sweet lady, has been diagnosed with stage 4 peritoneal cancer. She's quite low. Can anyone tell me about the general prognosis and how long one might live with this condition?

Stage 4 peritoneal cancer sounds really scary. I don't know much about it, but I'm guessing it means the cancer has spread a lot. How does one even cope with such a diagnosis? Does treatment even work at that stage?

My family has faced complications with other cancers, and I can tell you that stage 4 anything is very, very serious. For peritoneal cancer at this stage, you absolutely must be consulting with expert oncologists immediately. Don't rely on online forums for such critical information; get direct medical advice.

As a parent, my heart goes out to anyone facing stage 4 cancer. For peritoneal cancer at this advanced stage, it's about finding the best oncology team possible and focusing on a treatment plan that manages the disease and maintains quality of life. Sometimes, clinical trials offer new hope. Be strong and explore every option.

Dude, stage 4 peritoneal cancer sounds super intense. I only know cancer is bad, but stage 4 means it's really serious, right? Definitely need to talk to like, actual cancer doctors for this. Hope things turn out okay for whoever is asking.

Stage 4 peritoneal cancer is a very aggressive diagnosis. Health apps might give general info, but for this, you need highly specialized oncology consultation. Advances in chemotherapy and sometimes hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) can offer options, but it's very case-dependent. Seek expert medical advice immediately.
