Stage 3 kidney failure (CKD) can be managed for many years with proper care. Stay positive and follow your doctor's advice.

I've been managing stage 3 CKD for about seven years now. It's not a death sentence, but you have to be very disciplined. Key things are a low-sodium, low-potassium diet, managing blood pressure strictly, and taking all your prescribed medications without fail. It's about slowing down the progression, and it's very possible to live a long, good life.

Having diabetes myself, I know how crucial it is to manage underlying conditions when kidney health is involved. For stage 3 CKD, strict control of blood sugar and blood pressure is non-negotiable. This, along with a kidney-friendly diet, will be key to living well for a long time. Consult a nephrologist and dietitian.

Stage 3 kidney failure sounds serious, but many people live long enough to annoy their kids for decades! 😉 Jokes aside, with good doctors, strict diet, and managing other conditions like BP/diabetes, you can definitely slow it down. Just make sure your kidneys don't become lazy buggers.

It's definitely a serious diagnosis, but with diligent medical management and lifestyle adjustments, many people live extended lives with stage 3 kidney disease. Focus on consistent care and support.

Please, please don't take this lightly. I made the mistake of ignoring some health signs early on, and it worsened things. With stage 3 kidney disease, you have a critical window to slow down progression. Follow every instruction from your doctor and get regular check-ups. Don't regret it later.

Child, stage 3 kidney disease needs very careful handling. My grandmother used to say, for kidney issues, be mindful of what you eat and drink. While a doctor's treatment is paramount, some simple home practices like drinking enough water and avoiding excessive salt can also help, but only after checking with your doctor, haan.
