How long can you live with no sleep?

I've been pulling a lot of all-nighters for my project lately, and I barely get any sleep. My friends joke that I'll drop dead. Seriously though, how long can a human actually survive without any sleep?

I used to struggle with terrible insomnia and tried everything from drinking warm turmeric milk to soaking my feet in warm water before bed. While a human can survive a few days without sleep, the mental toll is immediate and dangerous. Please try these relaxing rituals, but see a doctor if it persists.

Extreme lack of sleep can sometimes be linked to underlying issues like hyperthyroidism or hormonal imbalances. In my experience, you should get a basic thyroid profile and blood panel done. If you haven't slept for days, please consult a physician immediately.

Without sleep, your muscles can't recover and your brain literally stops functioning properly. While the record is around eleven days, your body starts breaking down much earlier. Make sure you lift hard during the day to naturally tire your body out, and fix your sleep hygiene ASAP.

I went through a phase of severe insomnia due to work stress, and trust me, it destroys your concentration and immunity within three days. My best tip is to stick to a strict sleep schedule, cut out caffeine after 2 PM, and exercise daily. If you are totally sleepless for over 48 hours, go see a doctor.

As a diabetic, I know that even one night of poor sleep completely ruins my blood sugar levels the next morning. Chronic sleep deprivation can lead to severe cardiovascular and metabolic complications over time. Please prioritize your rest and consult a specialist if you are completely unable to sleep.
