How long can you live with liver failure?

My uncle's health has been deteriorating, and doctors mentioned liver failure. We are all quite worried about him. What's the typical lifespan for someone diagnosed with liver failure?

I know we all want to try home remedies like juices and herbs, but when the liver actually starts failing, these things can be very dangerous. Please trust only qualified hospital doctors for this, as proper medical care is the only thing that can save a life here.

I was just reading about this online, and it seems liver failure is extremely serious and can be acute or chronic. In chronic cases, people can live for years with good medical management, but acute failure needs emergency hospital treatment right away.

With liver failure, every single day matters, so don't waste time on internet forums. Get an immediate appointment with a hepatologist at a major tertiary care hospital to discuss transplant options. Quick and decisive medical action is the most practical step you can take.

My uncle was just diagnosed with advanced liver failure and the whole family is in complete shock and panic. Has anyone here gone through a successful liver transplant, and how long was the recovery period after that?

I usually suggest simple home remedies for everyday liver health, but actual liver failure is a major life-threatening issue. You must immediately take the patient to a hospital. Do not rely on any herbal medicines or home-made drinks for this.
