How long can you live with fatty liver disease?

After my recent health check-up, the doctor told me I have fatty liver disease. I'm trying to make lifestyle changes, but it's still a worry. How long can a person live with fatty liver disease if it's managed?

Honestly, I was just reading up on this because my cousin got diagnosed. It seems like if you catch it early in the fatty liver stage, you can live a completely normal, long life. It is mostly about changing your daily habits before it turns into something worse.

I track all my macros and daily steps on my fitness band, and fatty liver is honestly so reversible. If you manage your weight and cut down on processed sugar, your liver can actually heal itself. Just stay active and keep an eye on your liver function tests every six months.

My doctor explained that simple fatty liver doesn't really cut your life short if managed properly. But if left ignored, it can slowly progress to liver cirrhosis over 15 to 20 years, which is very dangerous. The key is regular doctor visits and managing your cholesterol levels.

My father was told he had fatty liver back in 2010. He is absolutely fine today because he immediately stopped eating deep-fried food and started taking daily evening walks. For him, making those quick lifestyle changes made all the difference.

Its not a death sentence at all bro, you can live a full life. You just need to focus on clean eating, lifting weights, and cutting down on alcohol. Keep your fat percentage in check and your liver health will bounce back pretty fast.
