Please don't rely on random internet timelines because cirrhosis survival completely depends on whether it is compensated or decompensated. I highly recommend going to a proper gastroenterology department in a reputed hospital like Medanta or Max. Get a clear evaluation from a specialist on where the liver function stands.

Hey, don't stress too much looking at scary statistics online, seriously! People with liver cirrhosis can live for years, even decades, if they manage it well and stop alcohol completely. Just take it one day at a time and support them, you guys will get through this.

My father was diagnosed with cirrhosis seven years ago, so I know this journey inside out. The most important thing is strictly keeping their salt intake below 2 grams a day to prevent fluid buildup in the abdomen. Also, never skip the lactulose syrup if the doctor has prescribed it to prevent liver encephalopathy.

My uncle had this and honestly, we all panicked a lot initially after reading Google. But with proper meds and a super strict diet, he is doing quite well now. Just don't let the patient lose hope, positive vibes actually make a big difference!

Aap bilkul chinta mat kariye, bhagwan sab theek karenge. Hamare gaaon me ek babuji ko ye bimari thi aur wo lagbhag das saal tak badhiya jiye. Bas unhe oily khana mat dena aur samay par dawai khilate rehna.

Just like my hypertension, liver issues also demand a complete lifestyle overhaul. You have to monitor their blood pressure and do regular ultrasound scans every six months to check for any portal hypertension or other changes. Regular monitoring keeps you safe from sudden emergencies.

For liver cirrhosis, the diet needs to be very carefully curated. We must avoid heavy proteins like paneer or high-fat dairy if the liver is struggling to process ammonia. Stick to easily digestible green mung dal, boiled bottle gourd, and apple puree, but always run the diet chart by their hepatologist.

To support the liver, we can give them fresh sugarcane juice or boiled vegetables which are easy to process, and avoid oily foods completely. However, cirrhosis is a permanent scarring of the liver tissue, so home remedies are only for supporting digestion. You must keep in touch with a specialist for regular screening.

I was diagnosed with early stage cirrhosis two years ago due to fatty liver issues, and my liver enzymes are now stable after intensive lifestyle changes. It is not an immediate death sentence at all; with proper weight loss, medication, and a strict diet, you can halt the progression.

My mama has been living with a damaged liver for 10 years now, and he still cracks the worst jokes in the family! The key is to treat the liver like an angry boss—don't give it oily samosas or alcohol, and it will let you live in peace. Keep the mood light and the food lighter!

At this age, our body parts start behaving like old government machinery, and the liver is no exception! But joking aside, cirrhosis can be managed for a long time if we behave ourselves. Just cut out the salt, take the mountain of tablets on time, and don't argue with the doctor.

I have seen in my life that fear kills a person faster than any disease. My neighbor lived for fifteen years with liver cirrhosis just by maintaining a peaceful mind and eating simple ghar ka khana. Trust your doctor, do some light prayers, and live every day to the fullest.
