How long can rheumatoid arthritis remission last?

My mother has rheumatoid arthritis and she recently went into remission, which is great news. But she's always worried it will come back. How long can rheumatoid arthritis remission typically last? Does it vary a lot?

It can last from a few months to several years if you take care. Just keep taking your basic medicines as advised, and don't stop them suddenly even if you feel completely fine.

Keep your mind peaceful and positive, as stress is the biggest enemy. Remission can go on for years by God's grace if we keep our thoughts and habits pure.

My remission has been going on for five years now. Gentle joint movements (sukshma vyayama) and daily pranayama really help maintain this state of balance.

It can last for years if you don't mess up your routine. Just stick to basic home food, avoid heavy lifting, and keep a budget aside for regular checkups so you are never caught off guard.

In my experience helping patients, remission timelines are different for everyone; some enjoy it for decades while others get flares in months. The key is to never skip your rheumatologist visits.

It can last as long as you behave yourself and don't invite stress over for tea! Keep smiling and let the remission run its sweet marathon.

My rheumatologist explained that modern DMARDs can help sustain clinical remission for several years. However, regular blood tests like CRP and ESR are essential to monitor silent activity.
