How long can implantation pain last?

Hi, I'm trying to conceive and have been feeling some light cramping type pain in my lower abdomen for the last day or so. Is this normal and how long does this implantation pain usually last? Just a bit worried as we've been trying for a while.

My wife had this light cramping for just one afternoon and then it was gone. We also got scared thinking it was something else but it stopped very quickly. If it goes on for days then you should definitely get it checked.

Honestly, the doctors at Fortis told my sister it only lasts for a couple of hours or maybe a day or two maximum. It shouldn't be very heavy or painful at all. If it is hurting a lot, better to ask your gynae directly instead of guessing.

Please be very careful with any kind of internal pain during these times. Normally it should finish in a day, but if you feel it dragging on or if there is bleeding, go to a clinic immediately. Safety first, always.

From what I read in our bio and health blogs, it is super brief, like just a few hours or maximum 1-2 days. It is not like regular period pain that drags on. Don't worry too much, but keep track of the days!

I was actually reading up on this yesterday only! Most medical sites say it lasts anywhere from a few hours to 48 hours max, and it is usually very mild. It is quite interesting how body signals this stuff so fast.
