How long can hepatitis b virus survive in dried blood?

My relative recently tested positive for hepatitis B, and we're being extra careful at home. I'm trying to understand more about it. How long can the hepatitis B virus survive if it's in dried blood?

It can survive up to 7 days in dried blood. It's a very resilient virus, so please be safe and talk to a doctor if you are worried about any exposure.

I was looking this up recently and found out it can survive for at least 7 days in dried blood. It is quite surprising how stable it is outside the body, so checking with a doctor is best.

My specialist told me during my recovery that the virus stays alive for 7 days in dried blood. Take this seriously and get a proper medical consultation if you think you've been exposed.
