How long can gastritis pain last?

Been dealing with stomach pain for a few days now, and my local doctor said it might be gastritis. It's quite uncomfortable. How long can gastritis pain typically persist?

Actually, acute gastritis pain can last for a few hours to a couple of days if you eat simple food, yaar. But if it is chronic, it can drag on for weeks if left untreated. Better to avoid spicy street food for a while!

I had a bad bout of gastritis last month and the burning pain lasted for almost 3 days. Drinking cold milk and coconut water really helped soothe my stomach. Just eat very light meals and avoid tea or coffee until it clears up.

Gastritis pain usually resolves in 2 to 3 days with simple food, but chronic cases can last weeks and require medical treatment.

Do not rely on random home remedies like baking soda if your stomach pain persists for more than 2 days. While acute gastritis settles quickly, chronic gastritis requires proper medical diagnosis and antacids prescribed by a doctor. Get it checked scientifically.
