How long can a fever last with mononucleosis?

I've been feeling really sick with a sore throat and fever for over a week, and the doctor said it might be mononucleosis. I'm wondering how long this fever is going to last. What's the typical duration of fever with mononucleosis?

Honestly, the fever from mono can drag on for 10 days or even two whole weeks, which is a complete nightmare for your sleep cycle. You are shivering one hour and sweating the next, making it impossible to get any rest. Just keep your water bottle close and pray the temperature drops soon so you can sleep.

When I got mono, that stubborn fever stayed with me for nearly two weeks, and I felt like a fully drained battery. It takes its own sweet time to leave, sometimes even 10 to 14 days of just lying on the bed. Just rest up and don't expect to run a marathon anytime soon, your body needs the down time.

Mono fever can actually stretch for like 1 to 2 weeks, yaar. It is super frustrating because the body weakness is next level and the temperature just doesn't want to go down easily. Just take full rest and don't try to act heroic, get it checked by a doc if it crosses 10 days.

My mono fever lasted for a solid 12 days and it totally wrecked my strength. I was popping paracetamol as prescribed, but the temperature kept bouncing back every few hours. Keep drinking fluids and don't worry, it eventually breaks but it definitely tests your patience.

A mono fever typically lasts for about 10 to 14 days, but you must monitor it closely. If the fever goes exceptionally high, or if you experience severe throat pain or abdominal discomfort, please go to a clinic immediately. It is always better to be cautious and let a doctor evaluate the progress.
