How long after taking excedrin migraine can i take ibuprofen?

My migraine is bothering me a lot today. I took Excedrin Migraine earlier, but it's not really helping. Can I take ibuprofen now, or do I need to wait a specific time after the Excedrin? I don't want to overdose or anything.

Honestly bro, I'd say wait at least 4 to 6 hours. Both are quite strong on the stomach, so don't rush it or you might end up with crazy acidity during class.

My family physician specifically told me that Excedrin contains aspirin, which is an NSAID just like ibuprofen. Taking them too close together increases the risk of stomach irritation and kidney strain, so he advised keeping a gap of at least 6 to 8 hours if absolutely necessary, but preferably avoiding the combination.

I panicked once when I took ibuprofen just 3 hours after Excedrin, but thankfully nothing bad happened. Still, my pharmacist told me to try and wait at least 6 hours next time to keep the stomach safe. You'll be fine, just try to maintain a gap now.

Bhai, don't mix these hot medicines too quickly. Keep a gap of 6-7 hours at least. Eat a little banana or some curd first so your stomach doesn't burn.

With my PCOS, I already have to be very careful about inflammation and medication. When I get bad headaches, I try to keep a gap of at least 8 hours between different pain relievers to avoid bloating and stomach pain. It's safer to ask your doctor though.
