How long after botox can i sleep on my side?

Just got some Botox done for my forehead lines yesterday, and the clinic told me to avoid lying down for a few hours. I usually sleep on my side, so I'm a bit worried. When can I safely go back to sleeping normally without affecting the results?

As a side sleeper who barely gets any sleep anyway, waiting those first 4 to 6 hours after Botox felt like absolute torture. You just have to stare at the ceiling and stay flat so the medicine doesn't migrate. Put pillows on both sides so you don't roll over by mistake.

Most dermatologists recommend staying upright for 4 hours and sleeping on your back the first night. Since skin healing and circulation are so important, especially for those managing blood sugar, following these post-care steps ensures the best results without complications.

It is generally advised to wait at least 4 hours before lying down flat, and keeping on your back for the first night is safest. Maintaining a calm lifestyle and keeping your blood pressure stable also helps with proper healing. Make sure you don't do any heavy exercise today.

When I got my forehead Botox done, my clinic specifically told me to stay upright for at least 4 hours and avoid side sleeping for the first night. I followed that strictly and didn't face any issues with uneven results. It is best to stick to what your dermatologist advises.

To prevent the Botox from shifting to other facial muscles, avoid sleeping on your side or stomach for the first 24 hours. Try to sleep flat on your back with a slightly elevated pillow tonight. From the next day, you can sleep in your comfortable position.
