How large companies evaluate mental health vendors?

I work in HR for a large company and we're looking to improve our mental health support for employees. When large organizations assess different mental health vendors, what key criteria or factors do they typically look at?

Haan, corporate wale pehle pura background check karte hain na. Dekhte hain ki vendor ke paas qualified psychologists hain ya nahi, aur unka platform kitna secure hai. Employee privacy sabse badi baat hoti hai aisi deals mein.

I agree with the privacy point, it is crucial. Companies also look at how easily employees can book anonymous sessions through an app.

I am actually quite new to corporate life and didn't know companies did this. Do they also check if the doctors speak different regional languages for employees from different states?

They definitely look at tech integration. They evaluate if the vendor has a solid app with mood trackers, 24/7 chat support, and daily wellness challenges that can sync easily with our work calendars.

They look at holistic programs. For us, physical and mental fitness go hand in hand, so companies choose vendors that offer yoga sessions alongside therapy to get people moving.

Our HR evaluated some wellness programs last year and they even checked if the vendor includes mindful eating and nutrition workshops. Managing stress with good food and lifestyle tips is a big part of mental health nowadays!

It is so good that companies are taking this seriously now, earlier nobody cared. They look for vendors that offer real, empathetic human connection rather than just automated bot replies, because that actually helps when you are feeling low.

From what I have seen, clinical quality and credentials are key. Companies verify if the counselors are licensed and if they have clear clinical protocols for emergencies or severe cases.
