How is the dengue virus transmitted?

There's a dengue outbreak in our area, and everyone is very cautious. I want to make sure I understand it completely. How is the dengue virus actually transmitted to humans?

Actually, it only spreads through the bite of an infected Aedes mosquito, yaar. It doesn't spread directly from person to person like a normal cold. So if someone at home has dengue, just make sure there are no mosquitoes around to bite them and then bite you.

Don't worry, you can't catch dengue just by sitting next to or hugging a patient. It only transmits through mosquito bites. Just spray some repellent in the house and make sure the patient is resting under a net so the mosquitoes don't bite them and spread it to others.

Dengue is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes mosquito, which typically breeds in clean, stagnant water inside or near our houses. It cannot spread directly from one person to another. Please make sure to empty water from coolers, flower pots, and coconut shells weekly to prevent breeding.

I had dengue during college, and it was so exhausting. It only transmits when a female Aedes mosquito bites an infected person, carries the virus, and then bites someone else. Keep your surroundings clean, use mosquito nets, and wear full sleeves during the day when these mosquitoes are active.

Yes, it is entirely transmitted by the bite of the Aedes mosquito, so keeping your house mosquito-free is the only way to prevent it.

The dengue virus is transmitted to humans through the bite of infected female Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. It is a vector-borne disease, meaning direct person-to-person spread does not happen. Focus on using mosquito repellents containing DEET and clearing out any stagnant water around your home.

Haan, bilkul sahi bola sabne, it only spreads through mosquito bites. Yeh mosquito daytime mein katte hain, na, toh subah ke time full shirts aur pants pehnana chahiye bachon ko. Ghr ke aas paas paani mat jama hone do bas.
