How is arthritis diagnosed?

My mother has been complaining about joint pain for a while, and we suspect it might be arthritis. We're wondering, how is arthritis diagnosed? What tests does the doctor do?

Well, usually it starts with your knees acting like weather channels and predicting the rain! But medically, the doctor will make you do some funny walks, bend your joints, and then send you for some blood tests and X-rays to see what is actually cracking inside.

My rheumatologist explained that arthritis diagnosis is a combination of physical examination, inflammatory blood markers like Rheumatoid Factor and Anti-CCP, and imaging like X-rays or MRIs of the affected joints. This helps distinguish between osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Don't fall for online ads promising to cure arthritis with magic herbal oils or copper rings. Only a qualified doctor can diagnose it properly through blood tests and scans. Get a scientific diagnosis before trying any treatment.

If you are experiencing joint stiffness in the morning, book an appointment with a rheumatologist directly instead of a general physician to save time. They usually write blood tests and X-rays on the first visit, so be prepared to spend half a day at a diagnostic center.

Please take care. It is best to visit a good joint specialist who will do a physical checkup and guide you with simple tests to find the exact reason for the pain.

Humare yahan toh sab gathiya bolte hain jab jodon mein dard hota hai. Doctor saheb ke paas jaakar khoon ki jaanch aur ek sasta sa X-ray karwana padta hai, usse sab saaf pata chal jata hai. Bilkul mat dariye, dawai se sab aaram ho jata hai.
