How i knew i had lung cancer?

I've been a smoker for many years, and lately I've had a persistent cough and some shortness of breath. My wife is pushing me to get checked. What are the common symptoms that lead people to realize they have lung cancer?

For me, it started with a persistent cough that just wouldn't leave even after three weeks of warm water and local syrups. Don't let yourself get overly worried immediately, but if a cough lingers alongside deep tiredness, please get a chest X-ray done. It is always better to catch these things early rather than assuming it is just a common cold.

Boss, if you have a cough that is refusing to go away and you are feeling sudden weight loss without dieting, go see a proper pulmonologist. Don't sit and Google symptoms all night. My uncle kept ignoring his hoarse voice thinking it was cold weather, but it turned out serious. Get tested and clear your mind.

When my husband was diagnosed, we actually noticed he was losing his appetite completely and felt breathless even during short walks. Because of my diabetes, we are very careful about health and energy levels, so we didn't ignore it. If your body is showing new fatigue or breathing issues, please consult a specialist.

I first noticed a strange tightness in my chest while doing my daily pranayama practice, which normally felt effortless. When deep breathing started causing a mild, dull ache, I knew something was not right. Please listen to your body's subtle signals and visit a physician for a proper checkup.

Haan na, people think it is just normal pollution allergy or asthma. My neighbor had this nagging pain on one side of her back and shoulder, and we thought it was muscle catch. But when the doctor did a scan, it was diagnosed as lung cancer. Don't take chest discomfort lightly, get a doctor's advice soon.

I agree with others here. For my father, the main sign was coughing up tiny specks of blood. Please do not delay and consult a doctor immediately if you see this.

Honestly, my uncle thought he was just getting old and out of shape when he couldn't climb two stairs without panting like a steam engine. We literally had to drag him to the doc, and thankfully they caught it early. Don't play detective on the internet, just go get a professional checkup done!
