How i found out i had kidney cancer?

My friend was just diagnosed with kidney cancer, and we're all very concerned. It made me wonder about the early detection process. For those who have gone through it, how did you find out you had kidney cancer? What were your initial symptoms or how was it discovered?

I learned that kidney issues can sometimes trigger sudden high blood pressure. If you notice blood in your urine, lower back pain on one side, or an unexplained lump, please see a specialist immediately. Regular health checkups can help catch these things early.

Finding out about such a serious illness is very difficult, but keeping hope and positive energy helps during recovery. Please take care of yourself and let the doctors guide you. God bless you with healing and strength.

Did anyone else find out purely by accident during a routine ultrasound for something else? I have heard that kidney tumors often don't show clear symptoms in the early stages, which is really worrying. How did you first suspect it?

This sounds so scary and it makes me super anxious about my own occasional backaches. If you are experiencing symptoms like pink or red urine, please don't delay and get an ultrasound done just to be safe and clear your mind.

Symptoms like hematuria (blood in urine), flank pain, or unexplained weight loss are red flags that require immediate medical attention. Please do not look for answers online. Go to a urologist or oncologist for a proper ultrasound or CT scan right away.
