How i cured my insulin resistance pcos?

I've been diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance, and it's been quite a journey. I'm looking for success stories or advice. For anyone who has managed to cure their insulin resistance PCOS, how did you do it? What changes did you make?

I had to completely change my relationship with carbs. Instead of cutting out my favorite biryani, I started having a big salad first and pairing carbs with lots of protein and fiber. It stopped my crazy sugar cravings and kept my glucose levels stable.

If your doctor permits, start doing strength training twice a week and walk for 15 minutes after every meal. Building muscle is the best way to help your body use insulin efficiently. Walking post-meals worked like a charm for my PCOS symptoms.

We don't need expensive exotic seeds or fancy diets. Just replacing white rice with brown rice or daliya and sleeping on time makes a huge difference. I helped my daughter manage her PCOS simply by cutting out processed snacks and sweet tea from our kitchen.

Since I have both thyroid and insulin issues, I learned that they highly impact each other. Please get your fasting insulin and thyroid profile checked regularly. Regular follow-ups with an endocrinologist are essential to manage this safely.

My endocrinologist explained that insulin resistance prevents glucose from entering your cells, making you crave sugar. He put me on a low-glycemic diet and advised keeping a gap of 12 hours between dinner and breakfast. This medical approach completely reversed my insulin markers.

Along with a clean diet, practicing daily pranayama and Kapalbhati helped calm my mind and balance my hormones. Stress produces cortisol, which directly worsens insulin resistance. Gentle yoga can help restore that internal balance beautifully.

Let's be direct: you can't out-exercise a bad diet when you have insulin resistance. I cut out liquid calories, focused on high protein, and monitored my fasting insulin every six months. You have to be disciplined and consistent to see real results.

I was just diagnosed with insulin resistance PCOS last week and I am a bit scared. Did any of you have to take metformin, or did you manage it purely with diet and exercise? I would love some gentle guidance.
