How high should fever be before going to er?

My son has been having a fever since morning, and it's slowly climbing. I'm trying to decide if I should take him to the emergency room or if I can manage it at home. At what temperature should I be really concerned?

ER visits and sudden laboratory tests can be quite expensive. However, if the fever touches 103 F and does not come down with medicine, please don't think about the cost, just go to the emergency room immediately.

With my PCOS, my body's immunity is sometimes low, so I am very cautious. If the fever crosses 102.5 and you feel extremely weak, it is best to go to the ER. Don't wait for things to get worse.

My elders used to recommend resting with some hot pepper rasam for mild temperatures. But if the fever is 103 degrees or higher, we must trust modern medicine and go to the emergency room without delay.

When my fever hit 103 and I couldn't even swallow a spoonful of double ka meetha, I knew it was serious. If the fever goes past 102.5 and you can't keep any food down, just head to the ER.

While gentle deep breathing can help soothe your mind and nervous system, a physical temperature of 103 F or higher is too much stress for the body. You must visit the emergency room for proper care.

I totally get it, sitting with a high fever in the middle of the night can feel so terrifying. If the thermometer says 103 F or above, please don't hesitate, just go to the nearest emergency room.
