How high is fever with strep?

My younger brother keeps getting these sore throats, and sometimes the doctor says it's strep. I notice he also gets a fever with it. What's the usual fever range for strep throat, and when should we be worried?

Strep fever can easily range between 101 and 103 F. Because of my thyroid, any bacterial infection really knocks me down, so my doctor always advises regular blood tests and immediate medical checkup for such high fevers.

Bro, when I had strep last semester, my fever touched 102.5 and my throat felt like it was on fire. I couldn't even swallow water. Don't wait around, just go to the college clinic and get it checked.

With strep throat, the fever usually goes up to 101 or 102 F. During this time, your throat will hurt, so try to have warm, soft vegetarian foods like khichdi or vegetable broth. But do visit a doctor for proper diagnosis.

My grandmother used to suggest warm turmeric milk for throat pain, which is very comforting. However, for strep, the fever can go up to 102 F, and only a proper doctor's consultation and prescription can cure the bacterial infection.

Strep throat needs antibiotics, so you will have to pay for a doctor's consult and throat culture test. The fever usually hits 101 to 102 F. Plan your budget for these tests and get a proper prescription.
