How high is fever with flu?

My little one, Riya, has been down with what looks like the flu for a couple of days now. She has a fever, and I'm trying to figure out what temperature range is typical for flu, just so I know what to expect. Is there a point where it gets too high?

When I get the flu, my fever often shoots up to 101 or 102 F. Because I have diabetes, I have to be very careful with sugary cough syrups or dehydration. I stick to plain warm water and immediate consultation with my doctor.

Flu fever can go up to 102 easily, making you lose all taste. All I could think of was hot chicken soup and spicy momos, but had to settle for bland daliya. If it crosses 103, please go see a doctor.

Flu fever typically ranges from 100°F to 103°F. It hits you suddenly. If it doesn't resolve in 3 to 4 days or goes beyond 103, skip the home rest and get a proper medical consult.

My health tracker showed a sharp spike in body temperature up to 102 F when I had influenza last winter. Normally, flu causes a sudden high fever of 100 to 103 F. Track your temperature every few hours to share with your doc.

With the flu, a fever of 101-102 F is common. Since I have thyroid issues, any infection drains my energy completely, so I get my blood levels and thyroid checked along with the doctor's visit to be safe.

Flu can give you a high fever of 101°F to 103°F quite suddenly! Just take plenty of rest, drink warm soups, and you'll be back on your feet soon! 🍵✨

Flu fever can hit 102 F easily. Don't try to go for gym sessions or even light walks when you are burning up like this. Total bed rest is required, and only do light stretching after the doctor confirms you are fever-free.
