How fast does tongue cancer grow?

My uncle had a persistent sore in his mouth that turned out to be early-stage tongue cancer. We're all quite shocked. How fast does tongue cancer usually grow once it appears?

Tongue cancer can grow and spread to the neck lymph nodes quite fast, sometimes in just a few months. Instead of waiting and wasting money on local ointments, go to a government medical college hospital where biopsy and scans are done at very nominal rates.

I am barely surviving on three hours of sleep, and now reading about tongue cancer growing in a few months is keeping me awake even more. Honestly, if you have a sore that won't go away, just get it checked by a doc so you can at least sleep peacefully at night.

It can progress pretty quickly, often showing noticeable changes or pain within a couple of months. If you have any unusual white patches, ulcers that don't heal, or difficulty swallowing, please stop your workout routines for a day and get it checked by an ENT specialist.

From my experience with regular medical checkups for thyroid, I know that catching things early is key. Tongue cancer can develop and spread to neck tissues in a matter of months. Please don't ignore any persistent throat or tongue issues, and follow up with an ENT specialist.

As a diabetic, I know mouth ulcers can take longer to heal, but if a tongue ulcer persists for more than two weeks, you must be cautious. Tongue cancer can be aggressive and grow within months, so never assume it's just a simple diabetic ulcer. Get a biopsy done.

I have had a small, painful ulcer on the side of my tongue for three weeks now and it isn't healing. Reading about how fast tongue cancer can grow is making me incredibly anxious. Has anyone else had a long-lasting ulcer that turned out to be harmless?
