The liver is an amazing organ and actually has a fantastic capacity to heal itself. If the damage is mild, like early fatty liver, it can start recovering within a few weeks of stopping alcohol or improving your diet. Just give it time and avoid heavy medications without a prescription.
I recently got my LFT reports and my liver enzymes are slightly elevated, which is making me really anxious. My doctor said it can heal in a few weeks if I eat clean, but I keep worrying. Has anyone else managed to bring their SGOT and SGPT down quickly with just diet?

Yes, the liver can heal quite fast, often within 4 to 6 weeks if you completely cut out junk food and alcohol.
